Ok, I was slow on the romper/jumpsuit rage, because well….how do you go to the bathroom??!!
Well…easily. Because, let’s be honest, the only other person in the bathroom other than you, if you are a mother, is your child. And, they’ve seen it all before. Yes, you have to be more careful in public restrooms not to let things drag, but…the one step dressing and comfort make that all worth while!! SO COMFY. SO EASY! Aka…WIN!
And, can we just talk about the day we had on Sunday here in Seattle?!! SO OVERDUE! It’s been torrential downpours and frigid temps for so long, and then all of a sudden… It was like we all needed the reminder of why we LOVE living in Seattle. And…this is why. 
Oh, and for those of you wondering…braids? On an over 40 year old mother? YES! Didn’t take a shower. Curly hair mess, suddenly tamed. DONE! So, there you go. I think we should all band together and make it the new “top knot” It takes more time, but…kinda makes you look younger, and, I mean…DUH! 🙂

Me chasing her down as she ran away laughing… If only I could set the camera up to change the focus point. Although, at this close of range, I’m happy for the fact that it’s unfocused 😉 
Randomly, I thought this looked better in black and white. Most of the prints in our home are black and white, so I’m drawn the them. In most cases for this blog, I like color, but I felt like I was actually doing a blog post for my work on this one, so I inserted a few black and white! 
Me… “Hey, Maya, want to come be with me?”
Oh, and I had to include this image! The tiny little dot in the far left corner is Maya. In most cases, she is NO where near me to photograph, as an FYI. If there is a chance for her to run, she’s RUNNING!!
And then I get her back. 🙂 She was totally cracking herself up!
And then just try and tell a 4 year old NOT to run in the water when it’s 40 degrees… 😉

Figuring out what it does… 🙂 Oh, and btw…I had done a shoot in the morning and hadn’t taken a shower yet. Disregard the no make up and frizzy unwashed hair. Thank you hat!! 🙂 
And, after 22 seconds, I realized she needed to be cut off ha! 
Yup. Every once in a while, I call to my daughter like she’s a dog 😉
And then…Because she needed a little warming up, and me being a monster seemed appropriate ha! THIS is what family pictures really consist of haha 🙂
In another post, I’ll show how cute these boots are! I found them for $4, and then later realized they retailed for over $100! SAY WHAT?!!
Seriously, DYING!!! Her dress….it’s the PERFECT twirl dress, which she happily did all around our house. In the cold with a bunch of layers…not so much. Thankfully, I bought it in a size 6 hahaha. SO…be prepared to see this dress and another one just like it a LOT! SO CUTE! 
And, because it’s rare to get the Huz in some pics…
Maya CANNOT handle people getting their pictures taken without her. I got 1 shot of my parents before she photobombed them! Yet, on the way there her exact words were

She’ll have to settle for above my head haha. I swear it still surprises me when I capture these with the self timer. I actually caught a few this time!
“Mom, you chase me and try to tickle me!” Ok… 🙂 
And then….truth be told. I took these next ones over a month ago. We had tried to catch the sun before it went down, but since we can never leave the house without about 20 delays, we got down to the beach after the sun had set. At 4:30pm mind you 😦 So, I didn’t even bother trying to take picks of me or me with Maya, and let her just run around and have fun. I’ve been dying to blog them, but never got around to it! THEN the other day, Maya decided she wanted to wear this dress again, so I figured I merge the two posts!! 🙂
