“Winterize a Spring Outfit”

It’s the 2nd week of my random challenge. (See our stories for behind the scenes videos!)

Maya got inspired too! I asked her to pick out a “spring dress” (as an avid thrifter…she has a lot to choose from 🙈), and I styled the dress she picked for the warmth of our 46 degree WINDY day. 😳. LOTS OF LAYERS!

I’m totally committed with continuing this style challenge and would love any further input on other weekly themes!

Does anyone else love a good style challenge? I’m always SO pumped by @themomedit #TMEStyleChallenge and have totally committed to them the last few years. I actually saved ALL the challenges this last time and planned my outfits for them. BUT…life. got. in. the. way. As it does!! 😫

Funny thing is that I’ve had these for probably…2 years! I was convinced I’d just resell them, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. I’m SO glad I didn’t!
Oh….and another neighbor? Don’t mind me…
So…funny story. The reason there’s a “haze” on the first image, is because Maya kept jumping up and waving her hand in front of the camera…

Funny story. I cropped myself out of this shot because I was frantically running towards the camera on the tripod that was going CRAZY taking pics! Maya’s face though….WORTH IT!

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve worn these clogs! I’m so sad to be saying good bye to them until next summer!
And…had to get shots of both of our shoes, because our shoe shots are some of my favs!
Seriously…dying.
And…then I gave her the remote to take pics of us together. I feel like she has way more fun when she has control of things at times. But again…a kazillion shoe shots later… 🙂

I can’t even begin with this…hahaha. Maya’s hair! Seriously…how did I fix that??!

My dad goes for a walk in the evening, and we see him when we are out playing after dinner.
And sometimes she grabs the remote and starts shooting a kazillion pictures.

Yes, this is her new thing. If I pick her up, she does this…
Not going to lie. I feel like I’m going to drop her!!

BUT…guess what. The following week she was in a singing camp, and

Nope. Hasn’t exited the licking phase yet! UGH!!!
