One of the many reasons I love to do “Style Challenges” is that it makes me pull out items I own, yet have never felt comfortable wearing. I know I should Marie Kondo that shit, but you know what….having fun stuff to wear “just in case” brings me JOY!!
😂🙈
Soooo…as soon as I saw the weekly theme of “Oversized Chic” for The Mom Edit’s latest Style Challenge. I knew I wanted to try and style these jeans that I’ve had for SO long, but couldn’t muster up the courage to wear them. They are so FUN!! Yet, so overly….oversized fun?🤷🏼♀️
I don’t know. I think I may have “grown into them” in the last few years, because I swear they were way too big on me when I first bought them…😬I guess that’s one good thing about overindulging?
🤣
In any case. With Jeans this high waisted and oversized, I needed a pretty basic top. THANKFULLY it’s been sunny and actually getting to 50 degrees!! So, no jacket needed (sorry to all of those of you that are still living in bundled up-land)
AND…I cannot believe it, but I found my favorite brand of @svenclogs recently for….$4!!! 😱 I did a double and triple take and snatched them up so fast! 🤗 Oh, and these amazing jeans? They retail for $390…. 😬 and…I got them on eBay for less than $20. I thought they were vintage! 🤷🏼♀️🤗
I cannot WAIT for consistent warm weather to wear both of these ALL THE TIME!! Funny thing is that I’ve had these for probably…2 years! I was convinced I’d just resell them, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. I’m SO glad I didn’t!
Marie Kondo….They now bring me JOY! 😉
On me…

Your thrifted items are enviable to say the least! 😉 For instance, the $4 clogs, was that a bricks-and-mortar score or ebay?

Hi!
Thank you! I swear I feel guilty about some of my thrift finds sometimes haha. I got these at a brick and mortar (a nearby Value Village thrift, which I believe is Savers Thrift most other places). Definitely one of my more major scores!!
Thanks for reading!
