Every year for Mother’s Day, my mom and I only ask for one thing. Pictures! Birds of a feather…
They were going to be out of the country for actual Mother’s Day, so we celebrated the weekend before with a more casual low key night. We walked to a neighborhood restaurant, and then came home and took a few pictures in front of our house.

In the majority of the pics we tried taking of the three of us, Maya was sticking her finger up her nose. She thought it was hilarious, and once she’s stuck on something (no pun intended!), it’s all over…
SO…I guess we do a take 2 when you come home, huh Mom?? 🙂

Such a fun and beautiful post! What Mother’s Day is all about. Having fun and family around. I love that you and your mom love taking pictures. Hopefully one day Maya will do the same? I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day, Lauren!

Thank you Leyla! And the best part was that this was the weekend before, so I got to celebrate all over again this last Sunday-yay for me haha. My mom is actually the one that got me into photography. She is my 2nd shooter at weddings when the bride and groom request one, which is doubly fun for me 🙂 I can only HOPE that Maya enjoys it too!! I had an amazing Mother’s Day. I hope you did as well.
