I always dream of somewhat coordinating our outfits… NOT matching, but…at least complimenting each other. Well, most days Maya now pics out her own outfits. So…we have a whole lotta prints going on here haha 🙂
Starting with me. Because you can NEVER go wrong with stripes and leopard print, right?!!
I’ve been obsessing over crop flares lately, and decided to take matters into my own hands. I scored these boot cut jeans by my favorite denim maker, and chopped them off. The perfect crop flares…for $4.80!!!!! 
And…raw hems are all over the place now. SO easy to make your own, and WAY cheaper than paying to get original hems put on if you need them hemmed-SCORE!
Oh, and I thrifted my DREAM leopard Vans on the same shopping trip for $6!! Threw them in the wash, and they came out practically new! I’ve since worn them a handful of times, so they are dirty again. Such is life.
This was one of those nights where it had been 80 degrees earlier (what the what, Seattle?!!). The Huz was out of town, and I kept asking Maya about going somewhere after dinner. She vetoed all my suggestions, so we just went out in front of our house to play for a bit. I swear, those end up being some of my favorite moments…
And, she was ON FIRE!!! haha 🙂 
It totally looks like she’s cheesy posing for this next one. BUT, she was playing hide and seek behind this street sign, and I just happened to capture it. Gah…I know I’m biased, but she is so freaking beautiful. Thankfully, just as much inside as out!

My mom took all of the images of me and me with Maya because my car got broken into, and they took my tripod. I mean, WHO steals a tripod??!! But…they left the more expensive flash that I randomly had left in one of the seat pockets, so I guess I’ll just say thank you. In any case…I took some of my mom with Maya too, and this is now one of my new favorites of them!
And because I loved it so much, I wanted to see if my mom could get one of me and Maya like this. BUT…if there is one thing I know as a photographer. You can very rarely replicate an image that you want. BUT…love these too 🙂

It’s spring break, and I have a lot of work to catch up on, so…no links for clothing (sorry!)
We had just been to a birthday party earlier (face paint below explained!), and then ran a few errands afterwards. Maya fell asleep in the car, so I went back and grabbed my camera with the thought of grabbing a few pictures of me, because I’ve been eyeing this location. She woke up after a bit.
And then….!!
I can’t even… That face! And, the face painting. Just kills me. 
It’s hard waking up…
And can we talk about comfy?? Also a WIN!!
And…throw on some booties and a leather jacket-DATE NIGHT!
And…a neighbor walking by with her dog? Don’t mind me…

Literally, NO dog can go past us without Maya wanting to pet them. And then the next question…”Do you have any treats I can give them?” She loves dogs!

I triiiiiiiiied to take that gum wrapper out of her hands. She’s obsessed with gum. I kid you not, she probably has 5-6 pieces a day (sugar free!). And she loves to hold onto the wrapper. So, she can spit it out after 10 minutes and give it back to me haha 😉
