I had a corporate shoot last week, so that means I can wear something a little nicer.
AND…when I do head shots (that don’t last all day!!), I like to wear heels. It’s always good to be taller than your subject, and with 4″ heels, I’m 6 feet tall.
NOT really doable unless it’s a wedge!! A platform wedge, that is 🙂
I still hadn’t figured out my new tripod, so my mom was nice enough to snap these of me when I came over to pick up Maya 🙂
And after that puddle….shoes came off 😉 
Literally, right before this, Maya had been saying “NO PICTURES!!!”
So…I said that I really wanted to take a picture of this pretty flower.

Keeping it Real…
Maya equally vacillates between “NO PICTURES!!!” and…hamming it up. Or, in truth, just playing and not really knowing that I’m taking her picture. Today, it was more of “NO PICTURES!” WHICH…I really try to abide by, IF…I know she really means it. Most of the time, she doesn’t. Today, was one of those days that she kind of did. Mid running away from me snap-whoops!
I love this so much. Maya being chased by BOPO (my dad) as we are leaving to go home… 🙂

Spring in Seattle is gorgeous! And so are you and Maya!! Can you send those blooms to Chicago, please? Oh, and I totally understand the “no pictures” rule. Hehehe. I’ve learned to put the camera down. But when it’s down, Luke says he wants me to take a picture. These kids can’t make up their minds! hahaha

I’m slightly biased, but I really don’t think there are much prettier places than spring in Seattle!! I think it’s why we all put up with the dreary winters haha. Which I know you can relate too!! Chicago seems the same in that regard 🙂
And, yes!! You can’t win 😉 I think she’ll be happy to have all these images later in life (at least that’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it!)
