Even when we have warmer spring days, the evenings on the beach can still be pretty chilly.
I took these over almost 2 months ago, but even now, we layer up in the evening. BUT…not for long!! We’ve bit inching into the high 70’s during the day, and I cannot wait for warm summer evenings!
I love the ease and comfort of a poncho! Totally takes me back to my high school days when the Mexican blanket poncho was all the rage!
Now…I’ll do a fun knit instead 🙂
These are one of my FAVORITE pairs that I’ve chopped (and that’s saying a lot considering I’ve gone a little crazy chopping haha)
I played around with the hem instead of just doing a straight chop. I love how they turned out!
Love…
BUT…love these even more!
Dancing on a rock…as she does….
And these kids flares?!!!
DYING!
Yes….this is why we suffer through the 9 months of cold and rain….
On me…
Mid catches…
And yes, it was SUPER WINDY!!

OMG…her smile??! DYING!!
She really wanted me to make her “fly”. I wasn’t sure if those days were gone, but I tried anyways. She loved it, and…I didn’t throw out my back haha, so it was a win!
Although, she wanted to keep doing it…
She did a bunch of poses up on this ledge. I was simultaneously dying, and nervous that she would dance right off!!
On me…
Not feeling me here, obviously…
She freaking LOVES this ride!! I think this might be the last year she can go on it, which is sooooo sad!
Although, the best part for her was having her big cousin there again!
OMG, dying over Houston and Charlie’s face hahaha.
And…Maya’s face here-HA! What you can’t quite see (except by my sister in laws swirling hair!!!) is that this little ride was spinning around SO FAST! I actually had to look away, because I was getting nauseous… Obviously, I didn’t volunteer to go on this one with her!
The family that rock climbs together…
My dad got this one of me 🙂 Not going to lie. I was shaking for a little while after this. I don’t recommend rock climbing in Frye boots haha 🙂
Gah. How cute would it be to have this every year! Charlie didn’t come with us last year, and I’m not sure she’ll chose this over a party again next year… 😦
I wanted to get a family picture in front of this, but the kids vanished…
The train was the only thing we didn’t do last year, so we wanted to make sure we got on. It was perfect timing too, because it started to rain right before we got on!
Are you kidding me?
Happy Birthday sweet girl!!
Because…someone was TUCKERED OUT!
Randomly, I thought this looked better in black and white. Most of the prints in our home are black and white, so I’m drawn the them. In most cases for this blog, I like color, but I felt like I was actually doing a blog post for my work on this one, so I inserted a few black and white!
Me… “Hey, Maya, want to come be with me?”
Oh, and I had to include this image! The tiny little dot in the far left corner is Maya. In most cases, she is NO where near me to photograph, as an FYI. If there is a chance for her to run, she’s RUNNING!!
And then I get her back. 🙂 She was totally cracking herself up!
And then just try and tell a 4 year old NOT to run in the water when it’s 40 degrees… 😉
I can’t even…
And then….She had enough haha. 🙂
On me…
