I am still totally on the fence about these booties. I love the idea of them, but when I put them on, I’m still not so sure about the color… :{ I do like them with a darker jean vs the gray skinnies I wore them with before, so I guess I’ll hold on to them for a little bit longer. I’m thinking they’d look totally cute with a summer dress, no?
Oh, what’s that you found? 😉

WhoWhatWear 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge // Day 16 // Monochrome in a Bright Color
I don’t know if oxblood counts as a bright color, but it’s pretty bright for me! I have snippets of bright colors in my wardrobe, but I definitely trend towards more basic colors. With the exception of green. LOVE just about every shade of green, but I didn’t really want to look like a frog 🙂
Side note. I’m getting way more comfortable whipping out my tripod and taking these selfies, but this is a very busy running trail. On a nice sunny day, you can just imagine the comments I was getting…
Um, Mom, where are the bubbles you promised??
This bubble machine was the best $2.99 ever!!! The only downside was that it was so windy they all few away so fast!
Other Style Challenge Days here…
Create a look with three levels of layering.
Mix two or more prints into your outfit.
Make a neutral outfit interesting by layering and adding a pair of statement shoes.

Gorgeous day in Seattle…
It’s so funny how if you give us a little sun and 50 degree weather, we are all happy as clams here in Seattle! I’ve been dying to shoot down by the water with the Space Needle in the background for a while. We walk by this spot almost every morning on our walk. It’s SO pretty…
So…I tried something a little new with my hem. I am 5′ 8″, but have ridiculously short legs. That means, I usually either need to hem my jeans (will do a post on that at some point, because who wants to pay $20 for that??), let them scrunch up at the bottom, or roll them. These jeans have a super long inseam (35!), so I double rolled them. I can’t decide if it looks weird, or I’m onto the next “cool thing” Let’s just say the latter 😉
I really should do more posts with my bags. I only have one actual diaper bag (which I posted here), but it doesn’t even look like a diaper bag (I made sure of that!). I just buy oversized bags, and have a little bag that has a few diapers and wipes that I swap out into each of them 🙂 This particular bag I’m holding here was a major eBay score. Regularly $446, and I got it for $26!
Mini stick!!! haha 🙂
Do I even need to tell you how much fun she had in this puddle and how soaking wet she was at the end? Reason #47 why I buy thrifted stuff for her. My heart rate only slightly goes up when she gets all dirty from playing… 🙂
I mean…could she be any happier?

Happy Valentine’s Day!
If you follow us on Instagram, then you saw this image last night. I take most of the pictures of me/me with Maya with a tripod and self timer. It’s convenient, but there are some limitations. As I’m getting more confident, I’m trying more things. I was SO excited that this one turned out! 🙂
Let’s pretend that I hung the “Happy” up too. The place where we took these is right near a very busy street. Maya was pretty good while I was hanging these two, but then she started getting antsy. Figured it was good enough haha.
Yes, this top only stayed on for the shoot. I wanted to do something a little more dressy for the Valentine’s Day shoot. As if we were going out afterwards (we didn’t/aren’t :))
Puddle!

Military Jacket + Printed Jeans + Booties (almost all thrifted!)
My parents were nice enough to take Maya for a few hours, so I could get caught up on some work and go to a Dr’s apt. It just happened to stop raining for 5 minutes when they came over, so my mom grabbed a few pics of me and Maya.
She’s looking at my dad (who is making funny faces behind my mom and saying…”Um, BOPO, you are NOT funny…” (sorry Dad)
Then, she was ready to get going to their house! Seriously, so lucky to have them now living a few blocks away!
You can kind of see that it started raining again…
Bye Mom!!
A few hours later it stopped raining right before my apt, so I ran out and grab some of me. Literally had 5 minutes, before it started pouring again.
Scored this J Crew jacket for $7!
And since I didn’t have Maya with me, I broke out some booties with heels!
And…a non ginormous purse, since I didn’t have to haul around snacks, water, diapers, wipes, toys, etc 🙂

It was a comfy cozy cape kind of day…
I had to take Maya back to Children’s Hospital on Tuesday for a test that took up two parts of the day. What sounded perfect, was to be wrapped up in a cozy blanket. Truth be told, what sounded perfect was not having to do it at all! Well, this cape/wrap did the trick…for making me feel cozy, that is.
My mom got these next few of Maya and me…
After every visit, they give her a stuffed animal. She is now OBSESSED with “baby bear”. You will be seeing a lot of him, I’m predicting… 😉
Jumping for joy, because the test is over haha 🙂
I completely forgot to get pics of just me until it was almost dark. I grabbed the tripod, ran outside, and did not care AT ALL that all my neighbors driving home from work were wondering what I was doing 🙂
Great news- The scan showed no kidney damage-WOO HOO.
