I’ve been dying to take pics with the cherry blossoms in bloom all over our neighborhood, but haven’t felt right about taking pics anywhere besides right in front of our house!
BUT…@e_for_elisa said to go out, find cherry blossoms, and tag her, so…

I took advantage of last night’s hair, and if I’m honest…last night’s mascara that never got washed off! Helloooooo natural smokey eye!

We headed out early before everyone got up and started their morning walks. We traveled a block away from our house, and… Yes, we drove. I almost forgot how to drive!

Well….you can’t really tell that my top is a shimmery, but it is. 😐 Maya has glittery appliques on her sweatshirt, but…nope, can’t see those either. 🙄
AND…her shoes have gold thread in them. You can’t see that either?? Well, that’s too bad.

But we NAILED capturing the cherry blossoms,💃🙌🏻 so it was all worth it! Only saw one person right as we finished up! •
I had planned on only taking 5 minutes, but since nobody was around we stayed for 10-whoopsie! 😬

I’m a big fan of knotting tops with high waisted denim, so I thought it would be fun to do a little different variation. I took this vintage butterfly brooch and cinched my top through it. I didn’t even need to pierce the top!
I just realized that I might have impailed Maya on the 2nd shot tho! 😳😬 I had hopes of doing more early morning shoots, but so far this has been our only one… I’m NOT a morning person… ☕️☕️☕️😴 Happy Tuesday! Or whatever day it is… 😂🙃🤪

Maya and I had been to a “Tea Party” with her Girl Scout troop earlier in the day so she was a little dressed up for that. She would happily wear a party dress every day of the week though haha.
In my defense…some of our friends had just walked by, but you know…time was a ticking and I wanted to still get some shots before we headed out for dinner, so…don’t mind us! They actually jumped in with us for a few right after! 🙂
I am SO obsessed with this vintage bag I scored while I was on a girls trip in Idaho!! It’s in perfect condition and the bakelite handles and trim are SO amazing!!
I loooooove the color of these clogs! At first I thought they were pink, but they are the prettiest blush nude that will go with EVERYTHING this summer!
I can’t handle these next ones…LOVE HER!! AND…The rainbow sunflare I got in these next ones makes me so happy!

Dying over Maya’s little shirt dress!! Scored it off eBay from one of my fav sellers in a lot of 4-5 pieces. She only took pictures of everything folded, so I thought it was a denim shirt. SO excited when I pulled it out! Basically it ended up being $3 or $4!!

So…funny story. The reason there’s a “haze” on the first image, is because Maya kept jumping up and waving her hand in front of the camera…
