I have to admit…I’ve lost my love of photography the last few weeks.

🙈😩

I put out the announcement to my clients and friends that I wouldn’t be doing shoots this fall-my busiest months!! That decision was due to Covid and distance learning/no childcare, but it’s kind of taken the wind out of my sails…

And…I’ve taken on a lot of projects at our rental property, which is both mentally and physically exhausting.

My creative juices have been lacking…for here.

But, the fall/winter is upon us in the PNW and rain is coming. Sooooo, it made me nostalgic.

I do love me some #sunflare ✨💫

AND….this was for our 11th Anniversary!! Not that we went anywhere, but..

Another blast from the past (pics taken 12/2019) because…we were supposed to go to Mexico next week but we cancelled it. The SEVENTH vacation we’ve cancelled. I so hope that’s a thing of the past….

The funny thing about social media is that you only see the highlights… •
I’d love to say that this vacation was a dream from start to finish, but…it wasn’t. We didn’t even know if we would be able to come here until the day before we left…

Family medical issues.

BUT…we had SO many special moments in this magical place!

AND…guess what…YES, I brought my tripod! Even though, I was SO sick of my camera by the time we left. NO offense to all my amazing clients, but…I’m SO burnt out by December! I didn’t take a single picture until we were halfway through our vacation. I ALWAYS regret it, and yet I always do it…

 This is one of my favorite shoots we’d done in a while.  It was totally impromptu outside of our house, which is usually when Maya gets into it the most.

Oddly enough…favorite shoot or no, we took them FIVE months ago….whoops.

So, let’s pretend those are yellow and orange leaves behind us!

We actually had a nice sunny day today, so the outfits could have happened! These were one of the first flares that I chopped.  They are my FAV!!  And…the ones that started the chopping addiction ha! Baby Birks!!  DYING! These next images are some of my absolute favs of us! And….Maya totally schooling me on the art of posing!

Jumpsuits + Birkenstocks | Twinning!

 Of all the clothes I have (and the amount is a little ridiculous…), this jumpsuit gets the most compliments!  Might be because I wear it so much haha.  But, it’s SO comfy, super easy one step dressing, and soooo nice to wear in the HEAT! And…could you DIE over Maya’s cute jumpsuit?!!  I want it in MY SIZE!  I scored it on eBay (like new!) for $14 (retailed for $160-what the WHAT?!!)  I couldn’t wait to put her in it!  It’s SUPER lightweight, so again…great for the heat waves we’ve had this summer! Her face…
LOOOOVE this next one! I recently scored these pair of Birkenstocks for me for $25!  They didn’t even look like they’d been worn!  Yay me!  Maya’s were another eBay score for $14
