This look originally came about from The Mom Edit’s latest Style Challenge.

The first style challenge was “Layer a Cami over something Warmer”, and I posted my take on it here.

If I’m being honest…it was fun to think outside of the box, but I’m not sure I’d have felt comfortable wearing that out for date night… So, I removed the button down, and this is definitely more “me”.

And CLEARLY before “SNOWMAGEDON!”

BUT….date night thoughts for those not huddled in their houses tomorrow by the fire… The high waisted crop flare is absolutely my fav jean right now, but it’s harder to wear in the winter.  I put a pair of high and tight booties on, and suddenly…no more cold ankles!

And totally date night worthy!
I have gotten sooooo much mileage out of this vintage belt!!  On of the many reasons I love to thrift!

Keeping it Real…
I showed a video of it being garbage day when I was taking these, but I didn’t capture the construction that was going on at the end of the block… Yes, I was surrounded, and…yes, I did outfit changes hahaha.  No shame in my game at this point!!
And…I had thoughts of taking pics without my jacket, but….it was 40-something degrees.  Didn’t happen.  Ok, it did, but it’s not worth posting haha.
