Vintage Coats to a Holiday Party

The Huz and I went to one of our good friend’s house on Saturday for an amazing holiday party.  I always have a hard time deciding what to wear to a holiday party in someone’s home.  You don’t want to get too dressed up, but…it’s a holiday party, so it’s fun to dress up a little!

You can’t go wrong with a blouse and jeans.  Add a fun little bootie, and you’re good to go!blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-1 blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-2 blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-2

One of my many favorite things to thrift is vintage coats.  The quality is usually amazing, and you just cannot find jackets with the amazing details they did back in the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s!!  Or…if you can, they cost upwards of $500!  This coat?  $10!!!!

I’ve had this one sitting in my closet for over a year, and I have NO idea why I haven’t worn it!blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-3 blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-4 DYING over the details on the back and sleeves!!blog-vintage-gray-coat-chelsea-flower-dl1961-lola-kiem-booties-5
