I swear I’ve never seen weather this amazing in the PNW in March! I feel like we live in Southern California. Except better, because well, it’s better. I say that having lived in LA for a few years 😉 We went down to the beach both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. We got there before the masses arrived, and Maya just ran and ran and ran. It was awesome!
What’s not awesome? My ridiculously pale legs. I keep meaning to try a bunch of self tanners out, but…haven’t gotten around to it. Sorry! If anyone has one that they swear by (that doesn’t SMELL!!!) please let me know! 🙂
I’ve always loved quotes. I used to cut them out of my Franklin Covey dayplanner (in my past corporate life!) and save them. I have also been known to save fortune cookie fortunes. We handed out quotes in picture frames as our wedding favors. I’ve just started looking them up again. When I saw this one, it made me catch my breath.

Love the pictures and love the quote at the end. It is so true, a mother plays such a crucial part in the development of a young girl. Not till recently I learned that my mother has been living with an undiagnosed personality disorder. I just always assumed she didn’t care enough for me. In a way I could say that I could have been a better person if I had a different mother but who is really to say? I think that I have become the strong woman I am today because I never had another choice. I really don’t know where I’m getting with this as far as giving you advice. Lol You are doing a fantastic job and she will treasure you forever. 😘 @super_human_love

How is it possible that I never knew your name was Marilyn? Odd, because I totally feel like I know you, and yet…obviously not! All that to say…the one thing I know about you as is that you are an absolutely fierce loving Mama!! I cannot even imagine how your childhood was growing up that way. The fact that you love and cherish Matthew the way you do, and shine a spotlight on the fact that he is such an amazing little boy who is so obviously loved, is all the more special.
