  I never know when I’m going to get a bunch of images I love…

I swear the more time and thought I put into a shoot, the less chance it has of turning out haha.

This one, however…I could split into two posts, because I got SO many that I love!

Yup, another pair of cut off pants.  Not going to stop, #sorrynotsorry 😉

I looooooove the detailing on the front pockets of these! Not quite sure how to put my hands in them though haha. This location is perfect for us, which is why we come here a LOT!  There are ALWAYS dogs walking by or playing in the field next to us, so Maya is in heaven!  It is sometimes hard to get her BACK into the shots with me, but usually I can grab her for a few here and there. LOOOOOOOVE this next one!

And…I was looking up this top from past blog posts, and saw THIS POST!

OH MY GOSH!  Chunky little Maya!  DYING!

I HAD to put this other one in!!And then….these! LOOOOOOVE! I can’t believe it was warm enough for me to take my jacket off, but it was! DYING over these next ones!!  I’ll be so sad when her gap toothed smile grows back in!!

Oh, another pair of cut off jeans you ask?

YUP!!

Like most of my outfits, this entire outfit is thrifted!

It’s been a while for some of the pieces, but if I had to guess, I’d say the entire outfit cost me less than $50.  And yes, that’s a true leather jacket, which are GREAT for transitioning between the seasons!  We are still totally in between seasons right now in Seattle!  One day will be warmer and sunny, and then we are back in to the 40’s the next day. 
And…the power of the sun.  All the images above were with my camera in the sun (hence the hazy sun flare.) . I moved it into the shade with me to get a close up, and no more flare.

If anyone would be interested in more camera tips, just let me know!

Mother’s Day 2017

 Just a warning…this is a long post!!

But, it could have been twice as long!!

AND!!  Oddly enough, it was a total last minute, run outside in front of our house after dinner shoot.  I swear those are the best for our family… 😉 Little windy haha. OMG!  Maya in this next one!! She loves her Meme!! I had to get a few of my parents! BUT…of course, Maya wouldn’t let them have pictures of just them…And some of the three of us!
LOVE!!! I can’t even handle these next two… Maya being Maya haha. And then…I want to EAT HER UP! Seriously…DYING!!!!

Breaking out the White Denim for Spring!

 So…spring has been late in coming to Seattle, but we’ve had a few sunny days (or at times hours) here and there, and it’s just about the only thing getting me through this never ending winter!!

One of the first thing I get excited to wear is white denim!  I have a bit of an obsession with white jeans, and have dedicated many a post to them haha.

I recently scored these off eBay (like new for $2.26-SAY WHAT?!!), and I love them! We ran right past the focus point on this one…boo hoo!!  I still like it even though it’s out of focus though.  Maybe more so because of it?  I couldn’t decide if this was an outtake or not! LOOOOOOOOVE her!  And the light this day was sooooo good!
Anyone remember Goffrey?? 🙂 I want to eat her up!!

Layering for Spring (in GREEN!) Happy St Patrick’ Day!

 I wish I could say that I totally planned for us to wear green, and I had this post all lined up for St Patrick’s Day, but….I didn’t.

It was a happy accident though 🙂

I’m sooooo over the weather that’s been going on!!  I just want to wear summer dresses (ok, no I don’t, because summer dresses aren’t my go to, buuuuuuut, right now??  SUMMER DRESSES!  I want to wear them.  And flip flops, and shorts, and anything else that’s appropriate for 65 degree plus.

Which, we are NOT seeing…

Until then, I will layer summer dresses with sweaters, jackets, and booties 🙂

Oh, Maya….you know the smile that’s next is not just me! I can’t even…

The reason I wanted to do this shot.  Other than, I LOVE shoe shots?

Both of our booties are WATERPROOF!!!

Ok, maybe mine are only water resistant.  I haven’t tested them.  She for SURE has tested hers 😉

But…if you are looking for cute water “resistant” boots, check these out.  Mine are sold out, but the brand makes more!! This is Maya’s posing face…

haha. I meant to get some sun flare, and got a rainbow flare instead-WIN!!! Oh, and waterproof, you say?  Let me test them out!!

Ok, I never told her they were waterproof.  She would have tested them out regardless…

But…her socks were dry and a wet wipe made the boots good as new!

Retail…$75.  Thrifted in like new condition…$4.25.

So, sure-walk through those puddles as a test! 🙂

However….when I want to get a shot of her or the both of us??
Yeah….she’s off and running away, and it takes me 10 minutes to get her back. 🙂
