Well, for those of you on the mailing list, you got another one of these posts last night.
There was a bit of a formatting issue, so…I’m redoing it! Seems WordPress is a liiiiiittle different after taking a two year break-ha!
I took a loooong break on blogging.
BUT…I have SO many images and memories to catch up on. I will apologize in advance for the massive influx of posts lately, because I have a bee in my bonnet to get these on here. I’ve been posting regularly on Instagram because it’s easier (feel free to follow us there!)
These were taken two years ago on Thanksgiving. We actually had a DRY Thanksgiving and time before the meal with actual DAYLIGHT. Those three things rarely all happen…
This was back when Maya still loved wearing fancy dresses! Sadly, Covid changed that. Or…not sadly? Honestly, I don’t care, but I do have a closet full of unworn dresses I need to sell now.
Like 3 minutes from the first shot to the last haha.
It’s easy to say now that I took these in 3 minutes…it was easy! But…I can’t even manage to run outside for 3 minutes now! And clearly…didn’t have time to blog these even though they took me 3 minutes to take.
This is my total transitional weather outfit. Whether that’s fall or spring.
Lightweight long sleeve top (usually striped ha!), denim jacket, destroyed jeans, and comfy clogs.
And, who else thinks the no white after Labor Day is a joke?
I only sporadically talk about how much I score clothes for. I wonder if anyone really cares, but I love hearing about other people scoring things so I may insert in prices here and there more often :).
This entire outfit cost me less than $30. Retail alone for the SHIRT is over $200!! I know…who would spend $200 on a shirt?? NOT ME! But…it’s a pretty cool shirt 😉 I could not believe my luck when I found it for $2.50!!!! These jeans, I scored from the kids department for $5 haha. The jacket and shoes were a little more than I’d normally spend at a thrift store at $10 each, but I’d been searching for a Levi’s jacket and checkered Vans, so I practically ripped them off the shelf when I saw both of them 🙂I’m not 100% sure, but I believe Maya’s entire outfit cost less than $15.Seriously almost died when I found these Dr. Martens for $5!! Well, truthfully, they were $7, but I had a 30% off coupon. I rarely go thrifting without some kind of coupon. Whether it’s from donating, from my Chinook Book, or because it’s a special percentage off day.On me…
