Jumpsuits + Birkenstocks | Twinning!

Of all the clothes I have (and the amount is a little ridiculous…), this jumpsuit gets the most compliments! Might be because I wear it so much haha. But, it’s SO comfy, super easy one step dressing, and soooo nice to wear in the HEAT! And…could you DIE over Maya’s cute jumpsuit?!! I want it in MY SIZE! I scored it on eBay (like new!) for $14 (retailed for $160-what the WHAT?!!) I couldn’t wait to put her in it! It’s SUPER lightweight, so again…great for the heat waves we’ve had this summer! We’ve been having abnormally hot weather this May, but over the weekend it was pretty chilly. It was nice to revisit boots and layers for a few days! So many times when I’m in the mood to wear something, I’m in the mood for Maya to wear something similar. I try really hard to make sure we don’t leave the house totally matching (sometimes I’m too braindead and it happens…) Most often it’s our shoes (like yesterday!). In my defense, Vans and Converse are so flipping cool and comfortable, that I don’t even think it should count 🙂

Basically, they should be a mom staple…

We had to go over to my parents to pick something up, and of course had to play on the one step that Maya loves…. Normally, I think Maya wins all of our “who wore it best”, but I really love these polka dot Vans! SO hard to beat the classic check ones that I scored for her at a thrift store though… She seriously has SO much fun just going round and round on this little stair entryway… My mom got these last ones of me with Maya.
